The 2020 WNAR/IMS/KISS/JR (Japanese Region) meeting will be held in Anchorage, Alaska from Sunday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 17, 2020. The conference will be held at Hilton Anchorage in downtown Anchorage.

Call for Invited Session Proposals:

We are calling for invited session proposal. Proposals for invited sessions can be submitted through the following link:

WNAR 2020 Invited Session Proposal Submission 

The format for invited session (105 minutes) can either be presentations by 4 speakers, or presentations by 3 speakers and a discussant. In the proposal, please provide session title/theme, names of session chair, names of speakers, and title of the talks. Each participant may be a speaker/discussant in at most one invited or contributed session. Sessions will be selected for inclusion in the invited program by the WNAR 2020 Program Committee.

Contributed Paper Submission: 

The abstract submission for contributed paper oral/poster presentation is now open. Contributed paper oral presentations will be 15 minutes in length, and there will also be contributed paper poster presentations. You must be registered to the conference in order to submit an abstract. Please submit your abstract for a contributed paper through the following link:

Authors and affiliations

Information for the corresponding author (i.e. the student information), which includes first and last name, email, affiliation, and current degree program.


IBS members from developing countries may apply for a waiver for registration fees, one short course, and banquet fees for the meeting.  To apply for a waiver, please submit a letter to stating your current position, IBS region membership, length of IBS membership, and reason for wanting to attend the meeting.  We note that WNAR does not have funds to pay for travel support.
