We invite you to register for two WNAR Short Courses offered on Sunday, June 14. These courses are open to all — conference registration is not required.


Short Courses


Generative AI in Science
9:30am–12:30pm
Speaker: Dr. Valliappa (“Lak”) Lakshmanan (Obin AI)
An applied introduction to using generative AI in scientific workflows while preserving correctness, ownership, and creativity.


Clinical Trial Design and Interim Monitoring
1:30pm–4:30pm
Speaker: Dr. Alex M. Kaizer (University of Colorado Anschutz)
An applied overview of modern clinical trial design, interim monitoring strategies, and adaptive methods, with practical examples and R code exposure.


Registration Details

  • Cost: $150 (regular), $100 (students)
  • Conference registration NOT required

Single day conference registration is also available ($150 for Monday or Tuesday, $50 for Wednesday)
